With our aged care respite services, you can recharge and rejuvenate, knowing your loved ones are in good hands. 2024 RIDE THE WAVE SURF, SKATE AND MUSIC The Make A Difference (MAD) charity has begun the countdown to their epic Ride the Wave fundraising festival - staged at the beautiful Town Beach in Port Macquarie from April 2-6, 2024. The festival comprises Ride the Wave Surf and Skate Competitions as well as the Ride the Sound Wave live music concerts . Xavier Rudd, The Dreggs, Emily Wurramara, Mama Kin Spender, and Round Mountain Girls all set to hit the beachside stage this April. New Schools Competition added to the surf line up – ENTRIES OPEN NOW -New creative writing and choir workshops being staged. All the events raise much needed funds for MAD , who support a growing number of families and individuals who are homeless or in need on the Mid North Coast, having served meals to over 5000 adults and 1000 children in 2023 . Adding further excitement to an already killer line up of events, MAD are sharing further updates for the 2024 Ride the Wave and Ride the Sound Wave events. T he Frantastics Choir Central Coast has been entertaining audiences on the Central Coast and beyond for over 18 years and return annual bookings are a feature. Directed by theatrical veteran, Fran Kendall, accompanied by popular musician Lindy Nankivell, with assistance from Pam Brown, Thayer Donaldson and Catherine Broady, this talented group of over 30 singers enjoy friendships as well as the personal benefits of singing with the bonus of bringing enjoyment to audiences. Choral singing in two parts with some choralography alternate with solos, duets and skits performed by extremely talented members. Entertainment on the Central Coast - The Frantastics Choir

The choir’s repertoire is extensive featuring such items as ‘Hey Look Me Over,’ ‘Wizard of Oz medley’, Seeker’s medley, Oklahoma medley, Hernando’s Hideaway, Bye Bye Blackbird, Love Changes Everything and many more. New members are not auditioned and are welcome to the rehearsals at 1 pm Mondays during school terms at the Walter Baker Hall, Woy Woy, corner of Victoria/Blackwall Roads. 2024’s bookings are filling rapidly but those wishing to book a performance are invited to contact the director via the choir’s website www.frantastics.org
