Songbirds – Ensemble Offspring – Aug 02 | Contemporary Classical Songbirds celebrates the breathtaking virtuosity of Australian birdsong with an array of original Australian chamber works. Be transported into the Australian bush with a little help from Australia’s leading composers. Performed on flutes, clarinets, and percussion. The Sydney Symphony Orchestra Performs Dvorak and Strauss – Aug 08 | Classical The Sydney Symphony Orchestra perform beautiful music by two of the great Romantic composers: Dvořák and Richard Strauss. A concert spotlight on the world-class woodwind section and their extraordinary range. Beetle – 12 Aug | Kids Join a child who finds a friend in her backyard and embark on an adventure to search for his family, the now elusive Christmas Beetle. The magic of the bush is brought to life through physical storytelling, and animation by beloved children’s illustrator Freya Blackwood. Josephine Wants to Dance – Aug 20 & 21 | Kids A hilarious musical about self-discovery, ballet, hip-hop and... a kangaroo!
