Gas heaters can be flued horizontally terminating on an external wall or vertically terminating on your roof. They pull air from outside, which is used for combustion and then push the fumes back outside. Wood heaters can only be flued vertically, terminating on your roof and must comply to Australian standards. Both electric and Ethanol heaters do not have to be flued.

This website is part of Activate Central Coast an exciting new initiative developed in partnership between Council, the Office of Sport and Sport Central Coast to encourage our community to participate in sport and active recreation whilst also supporting local sport and active recreation businesses, clubs and associations. Council Director of CommunityandRecreation Services, Julie Vaughan said this initiative will provide a range of benefits for the Central Coast community. “It is well established that an active lifestyle contributes greatly to people’s wellbeing. Besides the physical health benefits, participating in sports and active recreation provides an opportunity for social connections to creating a sense of belonging.“Sports Hub encourages active lifestyles and I encourage our community to jump online and discover a new way to keep fit.” There are already over 100 local sports and active recreation providers participating which cover a wide range of activities including; Aerobics, Athletics, Aussie Rules, Archery, Basketball, Circus, Cricket, Croquet, Cycling, Dancing, Dragon Boating, Floorball, Football, Golf, Lawn Bowls, Martial Arts, Netball, Orienteering, Oztag, Running, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Shooting, Softball, Surfing, Swimming, Tennis, Walking, Water Polo, Yoga A t Abbey, we specialise in a range of high- end Gas, Wood, Ethanol and Electric Fireplaces.
