Summer Gardening tips from The BHG team

Tomato Plant Tips: • Avoid excess growth by pinching out the shoots once or twice a week from leaf junctions. • Give plants good soaking every second day or everyday during hot periods. • Mulch with a 5cm layer of mulch to conserve soil moisture. • Feed every six weeks blood & bone and give a fistful of sulfate of potash & water in. • Give a liquid seaweed such as Harvest , Seasol once a fortnight.
