This is referred to as our Primary Style. A Humanistic-Encouraging culture in an organisation values a participative Team Member focused work environ- ment. Team Members are expected to be supportive, constructive and open to discussion of thoughts, feelings and ideas from themselves and others. Actively encouraging the participation of our Team Leader to better performance through greater engagement, growth and Team Member satisfaction.
O ur 2013 Organisational Cultural Inventory (OCI) was completed by 178 Team Members as part of Skillbuilder Training during April and May this year. The OCI measures culture “simply stated” what is expected of our Team Members to fit in as a member of Kennard Self Storage.

The OCI Circumplex assesses the strength of 12 Behavioural Styles, organised into three cultural groups. Constructive Styles (Blue) – Where Team Members are expected to behave and interact in ways that will achieve greater results and Team Member satisfaction. Aggressive Defensive Styles (Red) – Where Team Members are expected to behave in ways that approach tasks
Kennards Self Storage has been measuring culture since 1998. Measuring our culture allows us to encourage and foster constructive behaviours increasing Team Member satisfaction and customer service. This will make KSS a more effective and long term sustainable business. Our 2013 OCI Result shows all the Blue Constructive Styles remain more signifi- cant than the Red and Green Defensive
