KSS first dabbled in NZ back in 2007, we purchased eight operating self storage centres with our then partners VALAD. Wairau Valley is our first Purpose Built centre for KSS in NZ. The property sits next to the major motorway that provides access to the affluent Northern suburbs of Auckland. Our land is within an evolving precinct that has been historically car related industries. Council identified our strip for future development up to six levels high.

When complete in February 2021 we expect to have over 840 units.

GUILDFORD NSW

KSS Guildford is on Woodville Road in Western Sydney and is an easy 10 minute drive south of Parramatta. The site has been in the Kennard portfolio since the mid 80’s and originally had Kennards Hire fronting the main entrance. Subsequent expansion of both companies saw Kennards Self Storage take control of the entire 16,300 square metres site in the early 90’s.

With long standing good occupancy the timing was right to give the site a new fully optioned three storey building, with a gross floor area of 4,820 square metres, 413 units, new office, meeting room and car parking areas. This is the first building of three approved for development on the site and on completion this first building will be an imposing orange and blue

The building will incorporate the new generation of LED sensor lights throughout (no timer switches) and high bay under cover internal loading dock with access to the twin lifts. With a completion date just before Christmas, it will be a great asset for the Team.
