10 QUESTIONS... With Kim Simpson - Assistant Manager Penrith

What do you like to do in your down time? In my down time I like to stay at home and renovate and decorate. I’m pretty good on the tools (the boy toys), and I also love to spend time with my family and my friends. I like to keep myself fit and active. The centre at Penrith is large and spread out which helps me do this. What's your favourite holiday destination? Queensland, as I like the warm weather and the beach. Do you have a Favourite Food? I love Italian food. Do you have a favourite motto in life? Start everyday new. Put a smile on your face and make life worth living and enjoy every day. To sum up Kennards in one word would be? Extraordinary.

in the past eight months, they have a lot of patience for me and I drive them crazy sometimes. I love meeting new customers and hearing their stories. I enjoy keeping in an upbeat mood and I am enjoying my new home in Penrith, I am learning so much. What has inspired you the most about Kennards and what major changes have you seen during your time here? There have been lots of changes with new technologies with Atlas and digital signups – you can definitely teach this girl new tricks! Tell us about your family? I am happily divorced. I have two adult sons. Ritchie is 29 and Gavin is 27. I have four fur babies. Seth and Diesel (Staffies) and Mia and Luna (Dashies).

How long ago did you join the Kennards Team, and have you always worked at Penrith? I joined KSS almost four years ago at St Marys and was there for the first three years. I have now relocated to my new home in Penrith which I love, and I am working with Neil and Andrew. I have been at Penrith for the past eight months. What did you do before joining the Kennards Team? Before KSS I worked for Masters as a Customer Service Associate for three years before they closed down, Before that as a Canteen Manager for ten years. Tell us what you enjoy about working at Kennards Self Storage? Firstly, the Team I work with. I have learnt so much from Neil and Andrew
