PROUD TO BE A KENNARDS FREEDOM FIGHTER

A s we sailed out into the heads, I turned to my Team and smiled, what we had achieved was something to be proud of. On the 13th February Kennards FREEDOM Fighters were spoilt with a day on Sydney Harbour. The day was gifted as a prize for being the third highest fundraising Team in the 2018 Stepping Stone House Sleep Under the Stars Event. Our small Team of ten, in less than three months, raised an enormous $18,699! Fiona Harding (THQ) and Anthony Heng (KSS Marrickvile). The money raised will accommodate and care for 13 homeless young people for a year. To everyone who donated, thank you. In doing so you can be proud in knowing you are part of the change. was held a few months earlier saw 448 people come together and spend the night sleeping in shelters made from our Kennards Jumbo Heavy Duty Boxes. Seeing 1,000 KSS boxes taking shape under Sydney Harbour Bridge was hands down the best box display I’ve ever seen! Combined the event raised $460,730 for our homeless youth and youth at risk. Kennards are Gold Sponsors of Stepping Stone House, we love the work they do in continuing their dedication to ending youth homelessness in Australia.
