Description The county is planning a roadway trail project along CSAH 17 from 800-ft south of CSAH 16 to CSAH 16 that includes shoulderinig and storm sewer. The city's share of the project would be 50% of the trail cost based on the county's cost share policy. The county's total project cost is $315,000 (County project CP17-41, 2019-2018 TIP). It is assumed that $200k of this would be the trail construction, $100k for the city's share. Justification This project will complete a missing gap of trail on the west side of CSAH 17 and complete the network from CSAH 42 to CASAH 16. The county is currently acquiring the remaining 3 parcels/homes along the west side of CSAH 17; the project is dependent on the succuessful acquisition. Total Project Cost: $100,000
