Description This playground is in deteriorated shape. As part of the Parks Master Plan it was proposed to make this a major destination playground for the city that reflects the importance of the location. Justification This is probably the most used playground in the city because of its central location, access and parking. Also Huber hosts a number of events throughout the year so it is a large public destination. The current playground is in deteriorated condition and is in need of a complete overhaul to meet new codes. Total Project Cost: $700,000

This plan includes a substantial poured in place area that has been requested by the public. There has been substantial public outreach on this project and it has been identified as a very visible and important project by the residents.
