DT DOWNTOWNTRANSITION The neighborhood immediately surrounding the Downtown Business District serves as transition to the primarily residential Old Shakopee Neighborhood. These blocks continue the street grid of downtown and Old Shakopee, but include a greater mixture of commercial, institutional and residential uses and building types, including single- family homes. Opportunities exist for infill development on vacant or underutilized lots, and should be of compatible scale and form to the surrounding neighborhood.
