Lions Park PICKLEBALL CONSTRUCTION

We are all anxiously awaiting the new dedicated pickleball courts that are coming to Shakopee this summer! Construction at Lions Park will begin as soon as the spring season allows. As an alternative place to play in town this summer, the lines for three pickleball courts will be painted on the blacktop surface at Westminster Park, located at 801 Valley View Rd. The blue equipment bin, with portable nets and extra balls, from Lions Park will be relocated here as well. The combination for the bin can be retrieved by calling the front desk at the Community Center. Be on the lookout for updates on the construction project throughout the summer. If you’d like to receive pickleball info to your email address please contact Mark Schneider at mschneider@ShakopeeMN.gov .
