Supervision Requirements

DESIGNATED GUARDIAN REQUIRED Guardian must stay with the child at all times. Direct supervision is defined as remaining within the same activity or amennity at all times. INDIRECT SUPERVISION REQUIRED Designated Guardian must remain in the facility, but not necessarily within eyesight of the child.

Ages 0–11

Age 12–9th Grade

COMMUNITY CENTER

10th Grade & up FULL FACILITY ACCESS No supervision required. * Amenity-specific guidelines will continue to be required for the Fitness Center, Group Fitness Classes, and Indoor Aquatic Center.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES Planning your child’s birthday party can be a big undertaking. We can help reduce the stress. The Shakopee Community Center has many options to make your child’s birthday party a success.

SPLASH PARTY (Pool) Swim, splash, and celebrate with a party in the Indoor Aquatic Park. Includes exclusive use of a party room, with pool admission for your guests. Regular pool rules and adult supervision requirements apply. Party package fee: $200 Resident, $270 Non–Resident LOOKOUT PLAYGROUND PARTY (Indoor playground) Climb, slide, crawl, jump, and explore the Lookout Indoor Playground. Playground use is non-exclusive. Party package fee: $150 Resident, $175 Non–Resident NEW! ALL–STAR PARTY (Gymnasium) Shoot hoops, play games, and burn off energy in the gymnasium. Gymnasium use is non–exclusive and shared with other Community Center guests. Party package fee: $200 Resident, $270 Non–Resident NEW! JUMP & PLAY PARTY (Bounce House) Jump, bounce, and play on an inflatable bounce house set up in the multipurpose room. Includes exclusive use of the party room and bounce house during your rental time. Party package fee: $200 Resident, $270 Non–Resident Make your child’s birthday party special! ■ 2-hour exclusive party room rental ■ Invite up to 12 children plus 2 adults (birthday child’s parents/guardians) ■ Perfect for kids ages 5–10
