SPORTS UNLIMITED LITTLE RIPPER LACROSSE CAMP

SKATE START MINI-SHREDDER The unique SkateStart skateboard (provided) uses a revolutionary new system that uses markings on the grip tape to indicate proper foot placement for pushing (purple), rolling (red) and ollying (orange), or PRO, to get kids to the fun parts of skating quickly. Campers are required to bring a helmet, water, snack and sunscreen; we provide the board and pads are available. Please wear athletic shoes. Skate Park, 1255 Fuller St. S. Participants are taught proper grip, footwork, strokes, volleys, overheads and serves. We will also cover the basic rules and etiquette of the game. The camps are based on the philosophy of providing all children with the opportunity to develop sports skills in a fun, safe and non- competitive environment. Please bring a water bottle, snack and appropriate dress. Lions Park Shelter 2, 1103 Adams St. SKATEBOARDING Whether you are just learning or ready to learn more advanced tricks, Sports Unlimited Skateboarding camp is for you. Make new friends; advance your skills and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Individual skills/tricks taught: balance, stopping, turning, ollie, nollie, heelflip and kickflips. Skateboard and helmet (bike, snowboard, are OK) required. Recommended: knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards (all recommended gear available at no charge if you don’t have your own). Lacrosse: The fastest growing team sport in America! This camp is designed for both girls and boys ages 5-8. Non- contact lacrosse, also known as “Soft Lacrosse,” is played. Individual skills taught: catching, throwing, scooping and cradling. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Sports Unlimited provides all equipment. Floor hockey combines the stick handling, passing and shooting skills of the game of ice hockey. This camp will focus on learning the rules of floor hockey while working on team play and sportsmanship. The speed of play and the excitement of the sport assures that the experience will be one a child will not soon forget. Children will be divided by age and skill level. Sports Unlimited will provide hockey sticks. Please bring a water bottle and a snack.
