CITY-AFFILIATED YOUTH SPORTS ASSOCIATIONS The City of Shakopee oversees all city-affiliated sports associations; however, each is governed by a board of directors that meets regularly and sets policies for its own association independent of the city and Shakopee School District. All positions are filled by volunteers. Input from parents, coaches and interested individuals is always welcome. These associations set their own registration dates and procedures. Please check each individual association on the correct registration procedures.

SHAKOPEE GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMPS

SKILLS CAMP Campers receive instruction of basic basketball fundamentals. The camp is coordinated by Shakopee Girls Basketball Varsity Coach Juan Mitchell. Focus of the camp will be ball handling, dribbling, shooting, rebounding and offensive and defensive techniques. Camp sessions include individual, small group and a variety of contests/games to provide skill improvements. Grade levels are for the 2017-18 school year.

ATTACK THE BASKET SKILLS CAMP Campers will participate in competition drills with ball handling, shooting, individual post and perimeter moves. The camp is coordinated by Shakopee Girls Basketball Varsity Coach Juan Mitchell. Limited to 35 participants per session. Grade levels are for the 2017-18 school year.
