GROUP FITNESS CLASSES The Community Center offers a variety of fitness classes for ages 12 and up (12- and 13-year-olds may participate when accompanied by a parent/guardian). Classes are taught by certified instructors in a comfortable setting with safety and fun in mind. Just scan your membership card or pay the daily fee when checking in at the front desk. Consult with your physician prior to beginning any new exercise program. Visit www.ShakopeeMN.gov or stop by the Community Center to pick up a current schedule.

RESTORATIVE YOGA De-stress and practice self-care with Restorative Yoga. Restorative Yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and releasing through passive stretching and guided relaxation exercises. This special offering is intended to relax, renew and refresh your mind, body and spirit. Bolsters, blocks and other props are used. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. Day Dates Time Cost Code FIT 509 Registration deadline: One week prior to start date FOAM ROLLINGWORKSHOP Roll with us at Foam Rolling Workshop. In this workshop, you will learn how to use a foam roller and why it can be an integral part of your exercise routine. Foam rolling serves multiple purposes; it can be used to loosen up tight and sore muscles or as part of a proper warm-up. Come learn and practice the benefits of self-myofascial release! COMMUNITY CENTER FITNESS
ZUMBA KIDS® AND KIDS JR.® Zumba Kids features the famous Zumba Fitness music, rhythms and beats along with Zumba choreography broken into kid-friendly routines. Zumba Kids also adds age-appropriate games and activities, helping children gain coordination, self-confidence, overcome fears, learn about teamwork and much more.
