COMMUNITY CENTER FITNESS

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES The Community Center offers a variety of classes for ages 12 and up (12-14-year-olds may participate when accompanied by a parent/guardian). Classes are taught by certified instructors in a comfortable setting with safety and fun in mind. Reservations are required for classes. Make class reservations at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter . When arriving for classes, check in at the front desk and then scan your membership card or pay the daily fee. Consult with your physician prior to beginning any new exercise program. A list of current classes is available at www. ShakopeeMN.gov/communitycenter .

SPECIALTY FITNESS CLASSES Classes below require participants to pre-register and may have an additional fee. Registration deadlines are one week prior to the program start date unless otherwise listed. BUNNY YOGA Adorable and adoptable rabbits roam freely as the yoga flows, which encourages lots of bunny- human interaction. Registration proceeds benefit Rabbit Rescue of Minnesota. Day Dates Time Ages Cost Code RESTORATIVE YOGA Restorative Yoga is all about slowing down and releasing through passive stretching and guided relaxation exercises. Bolsters and other props are used. VIRTUAL CLASS PASS Get access to unlimited virtual fitness classes by purchasing a monthly Virtual Class Pass online or at the Community Center. Learn more about virtual classes at www. Zoom Dates Ages Cost Code April 12+ $20 FIT 401 May FIT 501 PERSONAL TRAINING The Community Center offers one-on- one and two-person personal training, as well as virtual training using Zoom video conferencing. Certified personal trainers will design a safe and effective program, individualized to each client’s needs, abilities and goals. Personal training sessions are 55 minutes. SMALL GROUP TRAINING Meet with a personal trainer and small group twice a week to facilitate individualized and effective workouts. Fees include eight classes. SIZZLIN’ SUMMER FITNESS SAMPLER Come to an outdoor fitness party at the Community Center! Meet our instructors and try mini-classes of our group exercise offerings. Personal trainers will be available to answer questions and show you around the fitness floor. Membership deals and free prizes.
