Knuckle band heaters are widely used in the plastics industry for heating extruder barrels and injection cylinders. Protection sheaths are in stainless steel or Inconel.

Fil résistif boudiné monté sur isolateurs céramiques et protégé par une tôle d’inox ou inconel. Ces résistances sont notamment utilisées pour le chauffage de corps d’extrudeuses ou de cylindres de presses à injecter. Pour temperatures jusqu’à 750°C avec blindage inox ou 900°C avec blindage Inconel. Charge maximale pour collier céramique calorifugé 5W/cm², température maximale 750°C.

Application: Ceramic band heaters with an additional jacket in which a low-pressure fan blows air to cool them down when required. They allow precis temperature control and quick cooling of the equipment on which they are installed. They were designed for accurate heating application such as plastic extruder machine. We can manufacture ceramic band heater to be integrated in existing second sheath for maintenance purposes. Application : Colliers en céramique équipés d’une double enveloppe et d’un ventilateur basse pression qui permettent un contrôle précis de la température et un refroidissement rapide de la machine. Les colliers en céramique ventilés ont été développés pour les extrudeuses de matière plastique. En cas de maintenance de votre collier

ventilé, il n’est généralement pas nécessaire de remplacer la double enveloppe et le ventilateur mais

uniquement le collier en céramique. Nous pouvons réaliser des colliers en céramique sur mesure, à installer dans votre double enveloppe ventilée existante.
