THE STONE COLLECTOR’S WIFE swings her cane and instantly she and THE STONE COLLECTOR are transported into the pub. PART I / “u bábelsteinů” the pub lights up around them. it is a typical middle european cellar pub with its wooden tables and chairs. but instead of the usual memorabilia decorating such a place the instruments of mineralogy are hung on the walls and sit on little shelves there and there. there are other guests, THE CHOIR, but we only sense their presence.
