THE THREE WOMEN show us the bundles of fur, wooden sticks and iron bars they have in their hands.

NARRATOR

in the back room of a run down house he came across three women who worked with black materials:

FUR ... WOOD ... IRON ...

they looked at him as if they were one ...

in an instant they create the figure of a man out of the material. at first THE MAN is pitch black but as he comes alive in their hands – like a life size bunraku puppet – he gains colours and is dressed in the western tradition.
