TE15-01 JAROSLAVAS MELNIKAS The Grand Piano Room (short story)

Jaroslavas Melnikas (born in West Ukraine, 1959) is a Lithuanian of Ukrainian descent. He has written six books of fiction and a collection of philosophical essays in Lithuanian, as well as several books of poetry and prose and a novel in French. He is winner of the BBC Book of the Year, Ukraine for the stories in the collection, The Last Day , from which the story “The Last Piano Room” is excerpted.

TE15-02 AUŠRA KAZILIŪNAITĖ ten poems

AušraKaziliūnaitė (borninVilnius, Lithuania,1987) isawriter and journalist. She has a BA in History, an MA in Religious Studies, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Vilnius University. She is also program coordinator of the Books’ weekend Vilnius book fair. She is the recipient of several awards for her poetry, which has been translated into English, Polish, Latvian, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Georgian, and Greek.
