TE15 Lithuanian Honey Cake

ten poems

a fable about a castle, a rat (maybe dead), petroleum and Stalin

someday we’ll live at home and feast on stars we’ll eat all the stars

or at least those dusted with sugar we’ll take down the constellations while talking about love or truth and there won’t be anything left to shine at night

and there won’t be any war and there won’t be any terror

white rivers will flow for five days straight we’ll give them to each other as gifts and drink to each other remembering mother’s milk
