Gazel of Idylls
your eyes just left the rain as child as, as big as, as warm as
you must be town or a pomegranate may be granada, may be september, may be red
your body is the summer night of your soul or what else very idyll, very sea, very windy
you fell in love again like a child as if to me, as if ah! as if it can be
even love cannot fill the emptiness of some lovers so that praise, so that to you, so that june
if desire is asleep, soul wanders all naked gazel about this, sorrow about this, secret about this
your eyes just left the town as full as, as timid as, as loquacious as
go on! destroy new towns for our hearts from this love
(tr. by Gökçenur Ç.)
