style was the poisoned apple it became a dilemma for us all Flaubert’s offspring poor Flaubertian creatures
as said the poet who not by accident is me
“from the point of view of art, there is no subject” he wrote in a letter to Louise Colet after she led him by the hand to the bed where she banged him
Gustave knew nothing about women but he guessed rightly what they feel then he opened the legs of one entered her and poisoned her
he called this taking care of style and writing a book about nothing
