Barbara Serdakowski (born in Gryfino, Poland, 1964) moved to Italy in 1996 after finishing her education at Concordia University of Montreal. Beyond being included in several Italian and international anthologies, she has published three poetic collections, Senza verbo , Così nuda , and La verticalità di esistere linearmente , as well as Katerina e la sua guerra , a novel. Throughout her life, Serdakowski has spent time in Poland, Morocco, Canada and Italy. Being immersed in diverse linguistic and culture places have evidently influenced her writing in these selected poems. She works a self-translated verse, weaving English with
