THE MAID comes from behind the bar desk carrying a tray. on the tray sits a beige (sand coloured) fist sized, rather nondescript, stone under a glass dome. THE LANDLADY smiles happy with herself as both THE STONE COLLECTOR and THE STONE COLLECTOR’S WIFE gasp with excitement.

THE MAID places the tray on the table between them. the lights go down but the stone is illuminated by a ray of light coming from above.
