A gold-plated robot caught Zack’s attention: it zoomed past the quarreling teenagers, raced to the airship and hopped aboard, like someone who was about to miss the bus.

“We can just walk it. It’s a lot of money, if we take the airbus every time,” one girl was saying to another player.

“But there are so many Smoke Lions. Yesterday I got burnt by one.”

“We can deal with them. They’re not as strong as they look in reality.”

“Just this time, ok? I’ve got a free flight left. You can have it.”
