Desert Island

There is no more tomorrow, my darling. There’s nothing that we used to have before. We locked all the doors and windows Isn’t that what we both wanted? To travel far away to that small desert island in our flat

Where we can finally be Left alone just for one day.

If the sky is what you want, I can build the sky for you right now, If the stars are what you want, I can pluck the stars from above for you right now Now I will do everything for you – What I wanted to but wasn’t able to do before

Everything you wanted But I couldn’t give you Before when there was little light and lots of pain Before when there was no desert island of ours Before

when you would cry in my lap and wipe your tears with a tissue laughing afterwards
