Days 4-6 Drakensberg Mountains Amid the tabletop peaks of the Drakensberg (“Dragon’s Mountains”), we hike from our welcoming lodge to dramatic rock formations, stunning gorges, and ancient rock art sites. Days 7-10 Safari at Timbavati Private Game Reserve Incredible game viewing awaits us at game-rich Timbavati. No fences lie between Kruger and Timbavati, allowing the free movement of wildlife. We explore by open-sided 4WD vehicle in search of elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and Cape buffalo (the sought-after Big Five), as well as abundant plains game. The wildlife sightings here are extraordinary. Depart on Day 10 via Johannesburg.
