DAYS 1-5 REYJKAVÍK / SNAEFELLSNES PENINSULA / WESTFJORDS / NORWEGIAN SEA Embark and head north into deep fjords, rounding the dramatic Snaefellsnes Peninsula. View the vast cliffside seabird colonies of Latrabjarg, the thundering waterfalls of Westfjords, and visit the quiet fishing town of SiglufjÖrdur. DAYS 6-11 NORWAY’S LOFOTEN ISLANDS / NORDKAPP Reaching the coast of Norway just north of the Arctic Circle, hike to the Engabreen Glacier and cruise to the legendary islands of Lofoten, with their spectacular fjords. Call at Hammerfest, with its indigenous Sami culture, and TromsØ, a trading hub. Finally, reach Nordkapp at the top of Norway.

Discover the high Arctic as you cruise the spectacular northwestern Svalbard Archipelago, where plunging fjords are flanked by jagged snow peaks and immense tidewater glaciers. Search the tundra for grazing reindeer and playful Arctic fox, walk in the footsteps of polar explorers, and on Zodiac cruises, look for walrus and whales. The whole Svalbard region is alive with migratory birds, and over it all presides the polar bear, monarch of the north.
