CR104P Contact Blocks 600 Volts max. AC/DC 10 Amperes Continuous

Description The basic contact block features one normally open/one normally closed (1NO-1NC) contact with a white plunger. There are two types of standard single contact blocks. One contains 1NC contact with a red plunger; the other contains 1NO contact with a green plunger. Application Gold flashed contacts are recommended for nonarcing, low-level loads (below 48 volts). All standard forms of the CR104P contact blocks are available with gold flashed contacts Logic reed contact blocks are specially suited for operations using low voltage levels (24 volts or below) typically available from programmable logic controls or computer systems. They are ideal for use in hostile environments at voltages up to 120 Vac. Installing and Adding Blocks A single captive screw, coupled with mating projections and recesses, connects each contact block to the operator or to another contact block, and it provides resistance to shock and vibration. These internally threaded screws make mounting to other blocks possible, allowing assembly of side-by-side and piggyback contact blocks. Depending on the capacity of the operator unit , it is possible to obtain a maximum of eight circuits (four on each side). Connections The terminal screws, equipped with captive saddle clamps, are mounted in offset positions to allow easy accessibility, even when installed with minimum center distance. You need only to strip the wire, place it under the saddle clamp, and tighten it to provide a positive, reliable connection. Standard and gold flashed contact blocks are supplied with IP10 back-of-hand protection to comply with UL508 Section 39A requirement for door mounted devices. Contact blocks are also available with IP20 finger safe protection.
