garden and a spring-fed artesian lake with the catch of the day. That’s the short list of what makes Monticello a great place to live, work, and visit.

The Monticello Chamber of Commerce works diligently to promote local businesses and organizations. Members meet monthly to network, share expertise, develop ideas to put the spotlight on businesses and community initiatives, and keep everyone connected with area events. The chamber actively partners with the Monticello Community Club, the school district, and other community organizations. Locals and visitors alike enjoy Montesian Gardens. Stroll through to enjoy this community garden which is planted and maintained by volunteers. Picnic tables, benches, and a gazebo add to the welcoming atmosphere. The Monticello Veterans Memorial is also located here. Lake Montesian offers scenic beauty and recreation for all seasons. Visit in early to mid-May to see the splendor of more than 100 crab apple trees blooming by the lake. All summer you’ll see people paddling
