Questions Library assistance is available in person, by phone, and online via email and live chat. Students may email librarian@vernoncollege.edu or request chat support via the icon located on the library homepage. Phone 940-552-6291 extension 2227 in Vernon or 940-696-8752 extension 3220 at Century City Center. Research Assistance Tutorials and research guides are available via the Research Assistance link on the library homepage.  Research Guides Research guides suggest databases and other informational sources which support specific subject areas such as composition, biology, psychology, nursing, etc. Assistance in selecting a topic, narrowing the focus of the topic, and in identifying keywords or concepts to use in the database search strategy is provided. The guides are accessible via the “Research Assistance” link on the library homepage. Renew Books Online Students may renew their books online and view personalized account information including titles borrowed, dates due, etc. To access your library account information, select “Renew Books Online” from the library homepage and then login with your VC student ID number and PIN. Group Study Rooms Group study rooms are available in Vernon and at the Century City Library. All rooms are equipped with computer workstations and test-taking technologies including the LockDown Browser, Respondus Monitor, and webcams. Rooms can accommodate up to 6 individuals. Computer Resources and WiFi Computer workstations are equipped with high speed Internet to ensure convenient and efficient access to online information resources and software applications. Wi-Fi is also available at all library and resource center locations.
