E-Recycling Now Available to Yorkville Residents Electronics recycling is now included as a part of the City’s solid waste and recycling collection services provided by Advanced Disposal. This is a call-in service that is free-of-charge to Yorkville residents within City limits. To schedule a pick-up, you may call Advanced Disposal's Customer Care number at (630) 587-8282 or email them at BataviaIL@AdvancedDisposal.com. Advanced Disposal will give you a pick-up date. Make sure to place your item on the curb on the day of your scheduled collection. There is unlimited collection, but please note no items will be collected from non-residents or businesses. CONNECTION CHECKLIST Make sure to stay in the loop with current City news. There are a variety of methods to keep up-to-date.

• Brush or branches are to be properly contained, bagged, or bundled and tied so that one person can safely load it into the truck. • Brush and/or branches shall be no larger than 4” in diameter or 4’ in length and bundles should not exceed 50 pounds. • Yard waste must be placed in 33-gallon kraft papers bags designed for yard waste collection. FOOD SCRAP PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO YORKVILLE RESIDENTS Did you know that food scraps are included in the pick-up program as a part of the City's solid waste and recycling collection services provided by Advanced Disposal? This service is free-of-charge to Yorkville residents. Advanced Disposal will start collecting acceptable food scraps mixed with yard waste starting April 1, 2019. The food scraps can be mixed in the yard waste and will be collected in the same truck as regular yard waste every week through November 30th. CITIZEN REQUEST TRACKER It is now easier than ever to report your concerns and suggestions to city officials. This online feature allows you to submit your input and requests for services regarding all areas of city business from utility billing to code enforcement. To access the forms, visit our website at Yorkville.il.us and click on the Report/Request button.

• All brush must be stacked parallel with the curb or street by 7:00 am by Monday the week of the scheduled pick-up. • No yard waste, lumber, whole trees, whole bushes or stumps will be picked up. • Brush shall be no larger than 6” in diameter or 10’ in length. • No return trips will be made. STREET SWEEPING Starting Dates: September 9 After the conclusion of leaf pick-up in November (weather permitting) PARKWAY TREE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM PLANTING: October 4-8 ADVANCED DISPOSAL SERVICES (On your normal garbage day) White Goods/Bulk Items Pickup October 14 – 18 • No stickers required for White Goods/Bulk items this week. YARD WASTE AND BRUSH PICKUP April 1 – November 30 • All yard waste material must be placed out for collection by 6 am on your trash day.
