VFR NIGHT RATING
This course aims to train pilots to operate aeroplanes safely in the role of PIC on the class SEP or MEP for which he or she is rated, without remuneration and in accordance to visual flight rules.
THEORETICAL TRAINING 3 hours of classrooms . Classroom time can also be performed by the use of video conference. The theoretical training covers the following subjects: • Air Law • Human performance and limitations • Meteorology • Navigation FLIGHT TRAINING 5 flight hours including at least 3 hours of dual instruction, of which at least 1 hour of cross-country navigation with at least one dual cross-country flight of at least 50 km (27 NM) and 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full-stop landings.
REQUIREMENTS • hold a class 1 or class 2 medical certificate • The pilot shall have at least a valid PPL(A) licence; • In case of LAPL holders, before completing the training at night, the applicant shall have completed the basic instrument flight module required for the issue PPL. DURATION The course can be completed within an average of 1 week to 1 month.
