JRS Architect, P.C. partnered with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine for several interior renovations. These included:

Cath Lab – Cardiovascular Institute



JRS designed a new 2,500 square foot Cath Lab suite in an existing animal sciences lab. The project included programming which was phased to enable spaces to be constructed concurrently. Support, recovery and adjacent rooms were designed within the suite. The JRS team was able to overcome the various physical constraint challenges as well as the complexity driven by the sophisticated technology for successful and on budget projects.

Cardiothoracic Surgical Waiting Area



This 600 square feet project consisted of` two semi-private areas designed with a hospitality feel. There is also an adjacent VIP / private room.

Neuro Imaging Core – 7T MRI Suite



This project was a renovation of existing PET lab for new lab and office space. JRS designed a 7T MRI Suite in an existing underutilized lab space. The proposed location of the MRI was challenging due to the existing tight column grid of an older portion of the facility. The total project was 1,200 square feet.
