The scenario is also a risk for the future, so long as the construction of buildings is unable to mitigate one hundred per cent the effects of earthquakes. The climate zone is a subtropical climate. It is summer, in the middle of July. The local weather conditions are hot and humid: 39° Celsius with a relative humidity of 90 %. These high levels have great effect on the piqlFilm when the ventilation system stops functioning. It is a warm and humid day, as the region is in the middle of a heat wave where temperatures frequently exceed 40° Celsius. The incident takes place during the last morning office hours. The scenario takes place while the piqlFilm is in storage in the piqlVault. The piqlVault system is placed in a storage room located on the 32 nd floor of an office building (skyscraper).
