Arctic World Archive
Store Norske is a 100 year old established institution in the Arctic with vast experience and resources to build and maintain mountain vaults. This collaboration has resulted in the unique Arctic World Archive® established in a mine in Longyearbyen on the is- land of Svalbard, for physical storage of important and/or sensitive data, documents and records. Norway, Brazil and Mexico were the first nations to de- posit some of their most important data. Gruve 3 is a state owned mine that housed the Global Sead Vault when it first opened in 1984.
