TASTING NOTES

This wine is a blend of grapes from both the Margaret River and Swan Valley regions. The riper, richer notes from the Swan Valley and the more elegant and sophisticated characters coming from Margaret River. The colour is a dark red with a solid magenta hue. This wine smells of fresh berries. On the palate blackberry and mulberry with a bit of spice, szechuan pepper and star anise. Ribs, spicy sausages or smoked brisket on the barbeque are great options with this wine.

This wine is gently fermented and infused with a touch of French and American oak to lend body and support to the bright cherry and berry flavours. For additional structure, a small amount of Syrah and Petite Sirah were included in the blend. It has hints of berry jam and toasted oak on the palate. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir is a generous, fruity wine with a silky texture balanced by mouth watering acidity. If you’re looking for a good cheese pairing, try brie cheese or any other mild and soft cheeses. It also pairs beautifully with cured meats.
