LOCAL LICENSED PRODUCER PERFORMANCE Sales of products from local licensed producers continued to demonstrate strong growth in 2026, reaching nearly $8.2 million, a 30.2% increase over 2025. Unit sales also experienced significant growth, increasing 31.2% year over year to 291,164 units. The continued growth in both sales and unit volumes reflects strong consumer demand for locally produced cannabis products and the important role Prince Edward Island producers play in the legal retail market. Since 2024, sales of local products have increased by 67.3%, while unit sales have grown by 49.2%, highlighting sustained momentum and increasing customer support for locally produced offerings.

The 2026 results reinforce PEICMC’s ongoing commitment to supporting Prince Edward Island producers while providing customers with a diverse selection of high-quality local products.
