PEICMC Merchandising Program Guide 2026-2027
Limited Edition Products (LEP)
An opportunity for a supplier to showcase exclusive products outside of their main product portfolio. These products must be competitively priced to qualify as LEPs.
LEP Guidelines: • LEP can be active for two consecutive Periods only. • The fee for two LEPs per Period is $900. If only one LEP is submitted, the fee is still $900. • The $900 LEP fee is waived if the supplier is a Platinum or Premium merchandising program participant. • LEP SKU types are at the discretion of PEI Cannabis based on current merchandising priorities. • LEP prices will be frozen while SKU(s) are active as a LEP. • LEP products must be priced at or above the supplier's comparable products currently listed in market. Exceptions may be considered where there is a clear and justifiable product differentiation that supports a lower retail price. Final approval of all LEP pricing rests with PEI Cannabis. • LEP products are not eligible for price reductions or promotional pricing during the LEP Period. • If LEPs do not arrive at our warehouse by the required date provided each Period, PEI Cannabis reserves the right to cancel the LEPs or move them to the next Period. • If a supplier would like to participate in the LEP Program, an LEP Program & Product Setup Application Form must be submitted via email to Colin MacDonald, Brand & Communications Manager, cmacdonald@peican nabiscorp.com. • The LEP Program & Product Setup Application Form must be submitted 45 business days ahead of the Period(s) the supplier wishes to run the LEP(s) in.
*Important: LEP product images must be included with the LEP application submission.
Product image specs are as follows: • Image Format: JPEG • Dimensions: 1024px x 1024px • Color Mode: RGB • Background: White background, product centered • File Naming Convention: Brand, Product Name (Ex: FIGR Garlic Truffle 7g.jpg)
LEP Exit Process • At the conclusion of the LEP Period, products selected for permanent listing may transition into the standard assortment only by replacing an existing listed SKU from the supplier's portfolio, subject to PEI Cannabis approval. • LEP products not selected for permanent listing will be treated as delisted products for one additional Period as part of our Price Reduction Program. • Following this Period, any remaining inventory will be subject to Return to Vendor (RTV). • Suppliers will be charged back landed costs from their accounts payable account for any RTV inventory. (Please see page 7 in our Supplier Manual for full chargeback details.)
