it well covering the stage and floor of the auditorium very skilfully. The styles and rhythms were quite varied so there was a lot to learn.
I absolutely loved all the artistic work that went into making many of the hand-made costumes. Character presentation hair and make-up did not look out of place. The hair was well groomed, tidy and appropriate. Most of the makeup was just perfect and blended
well with the character’s appearance. I did not think that anyone living under the sea, or spent a lot of time in water, would have worn very much! A face devoid of makeup can looked washed out under spotlights, but a hint would add vision and depth to the face without it looking as though someone was entering a beauty contest. The use of a heavy or full red lip may not be in keeping with the character. The transitions from one scene to another flowed well. When the doors in-between the audience were used for entrances and exits, the characters prepared themselves and integrated themselves into the scene. I applaud the smooth continuity so that the cast members remained in character during this transition. They did not stop their movement of
flowing arms or swimming until they were well out of sight. Not always easy to remember, especially due to their age and inexperience, so very well done. I enjoyed being encompassed by the music and performances. Everyone worked as a
