An opened red band cover fromWehsuh, Sinkiang to Tientsin, on front bearing the overprinted ‘For Use In Sinkiang’ on 1st Peking print Junk, 2nd overprinted, 4c and 5c, 5c has been cut into half due to the opening, both tied by bilingual ‘WENSUH (AKSU)’ ( 溫宿 ) plus a Famine Relief stamp 1c brown, tied by Wave type cancel in black, rare on cover, on reverse with the same ‘WENSUH’ cancel, bilingual ‘TIHWA (URUMTSI)/2.1.33’ transit and bilingual ‘TIENTSIN/1?.2.23’ arrival cds, plus 2 different kind of Sinkiang censor label each was taped at the top and bottom. 1928 (1 July) A cover from Sinkiang registered to Tientsin, on front tied by various cancellation, including single ring bisect in char. ‘SINKIANG/ LUNTAI/1.7.28’ ( 輪台 ) bilingual ‘THIWA (URUMTSI)/10.7.28’ transit’, bilingual ‘TIENTSIN/12.8.28’ transit and ‘TIENTSIN/13.8.28’ arrival cds, both ‘TINETSIN’ cds shows different kind of char. index, both in ( 丁 and 甲 ) on reverse bearing overprinted ‘For Use In Sinkiang’ on 2nd print Junk 1c x 7, 4c in pair and 5c, both tied by char. ‘SINKIANG/LUNTAI/’ ( 輪台 ) cds, bilingual ‘KUERNLEI/3.7.28’ ( 庫爾勒 ) transit (nowadays, the present English name is written as Korla, Kurla or Kuerle) with Sinkiang censor label.
