357 1897 (12 Feb. ) A mixed franking cover from Soochow to New York, USA, bearing Small Dragon small figures surcharged 5c on 5 cands, tied by very neat 'CUSTOMS/SOOCHOW' cds, alongside Japanese Koban 5s blue, tied by 'SHANGHAI/I.J.P.O' cds, unfortunately, the left side has been partially cut off, showing a small part of the Customs cancel, the missing stamp could have been a Small Dragon. on reverse with 'CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI/14.2.97' and 'VANCOUVER/10.3.97' transit, with paper adhesive on back and affecting the cancellation and condition.
