1258 1933 (22 July) A cover from Eshan to Germany, via Hong Kong and Siberia, bearing overprinted ‘For Use In Yunnan’ on 2nd print Junk 1c, 4c and SYS London 1st print 20c, tied by ‘YUNNAN/ESHAN’( 峩山 ) cds, on reverse tied by bilingual ‘YUKIYUN/22.7.32’ ( 玉溪 ) bilingual ‘KUNMING (YUNNANFU)/23.7.32’, ‘AMI/24.7.32’ ( 阿迷 ), ‘HAI_PHONG/27.7.32’ and ‘HONG-KONG/2.8.33’ transits, this cover was sent from Yunnan to Tonkin via Southern overland route through Indo China and from there to Hong Kong by sea, and than transmitted domestically from Hong Kong to overseas via Siberia overland route again. Photo Note: In 1933, The China international surface mails to Europe were delivered mainly by Southern China Sea route directly instead of being transmitted via Hong Kong and Siberia.
