3119 由國民黨統治下西康西昌寄出的最後航空封 The Last Flight from Sikang Sichang under KMT rule

This letter was posted on 25th March 1950, two days before the liberation of the city. It managed to catch probably the last flight out from Sichang to reach Hoihow, Hainan Island which was still under Kuomintang control. On 27th March, it was then forwarded and arrived Hong Kong on 28th March for final delivery to Chicago, USA. The cover was affixed with seven Hwa Nan SYS 10 fen and one West Szechwan Unit stamp; the 75 fen total value was the International registered airmail postage. 這封信在西康西昌 (50.03.25) 解放前2天的1950年3月25日寄出。它趕上了可能是西昌尾航班, 3月27日經仍在國民黨統治下 的海南島海口之後, 3月28日由香港轉往美國芝加哥。此封上貼國父華南版10分七枚，西川平信單位一枚，銀元75分相等 於國際航空掛號郵資。​ HK$ 28,000 - 30,000
