Petri, we will really miss your beautiful large hands and your genuine smile. Also your thirst for knowledge and love of nature. Your desire to share your adventures with others is legendary. After our last visit, Corli was so excited about your tales of adventure that she wanted to pack up and join you on your travels through Africa. The experiences you and your family had through the work you did are adventures that millions of people dream about and follow on National Geographic. Old Swarrie , we are going to miss your love and knowledge of nature and Africa, and will carry your enthusiasm and excitement with us. Petri, thank you for being such a worthy husband to Zanne, a fine father to Carina and Shanine, and first-class brother- and son-in-law to me and my parents. Petri, we miss you more than words can say; you leave a big black hole in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving you.
