Photo LEFT is of the widespread Psoralea pinnata (Common Fountain-bush of the CFR) while that ABOVE is of an endangered species, P. filifolia , a new population of which was recently discovered in my suburb of Kirstenhof on the heavily impacted Westlake river bank

Another interesting CFR endemic in wetland habitats is Laurophyllus capensis that is in the Anacardiaceae (Mango family) along with all the Searsia spp., Harpephyllum and marulas
