Additionally, in support of other fellow law enforcement officers who are not FBINA graduates that are killed in the line of duty, we now respond by sending out condolences to their agen cies. The response to this outreach initiative has been wonderful. Over the past four years, I have discovered a sincere spiri tual awareness within our ranks, and it is with the utmost grati tude that I recognize the National Board for creating this position many years ago. To those Past Presidents and Board members who had the wisdom and faith in our Lord to create and support all our past and future National Board Chaplains, I thank you. I am very excited for our incoming National Board Chaplain Kevin Jensen, Past President of the California Chapter. He comes bearing a strong faith in the Lord and is extremely well prepared to serve this magnificent organization with new inspiration, and a keen awareness of our mission. By the time this article is published Kevin will be your new National Board Chaplain. For me, well, I know that I am living God’s plan and what ever he has in store for me to do I stand ready to respond. I was taught a long time ago that time is not wasted on asking for God’s forgiveness, asking for His help, and showing Him that your heart is open to His teachings. If I attempted to recognize all who have helped me along the way I am afraid I might run over my allocated word count and possibly miss someone.
