The FBINAA Charitable Foundation has created the Scholarship & Innovation Award, an annual award for which an individual, agency or company from either the public or private sector may be recognized for making a significant overall con- tribution to the law enforcement/criminal justice community. The contribution may be a collaborative effort between any of the listed sources from Government and/or Non-Government entities.
• The recipient is not required to be a graduate of the FBI National Academy. • The period of consideration will be from June 1 - May 31. • A significant contribution can be, but not limited to developing. • New strategies/techniques that streamlines services or productivity.
• New tactics that greatly improves relationships between an agency and the people they service. • Training programs that are in-line with current trends or subject matters of importance. • Programs providing a more cost effective service, reduce overtime costs, increase services, etc. • Programs or Policies that reduce injuries/sick leave. • New technological advances in support of LE/CJ goals and objectives.
• New equipment designs that facilitate members of the LE/CJ profession in the performance of their duties.
